Edit mode turns the live page into the editor. Nothing moves and nothing changes shape. Text gets a faint outline when you hover, images become clickable, and sections you can add to grow a tab on the right edge.

Starting

Press Edit in the bottom-left bar.
If the bar says editing is off, an admin can switch it on under Settings, then General.

What you can click

Changes show in place as you make them. Nothing is live until you publish.

Finishing

  • Publish makes your changes live. It asks once to confirm. See Publishing.
  • Cancel throws away everything since you pressed Edit. It asks first if you have changes.
Articles and forms save as you go Their bar reads Done instead of Cancel, and undo works with the usual shortcut. Nothing shows on the site until you publish.

Two people at once

Other members on the same page show as initials in the top bar. Hover one to see which field they are on.
  • If you both change different parts of a page, both changes are kept.
  • If you both change the same field, Stage stops and tells you someone else saved first. Reload the page and make your change again.

Requests

The Request pill is for anything you cannot change yourself: a new section, a layout change, a bug. Click anywhere on the page to drop a pin, write the note, and send. It reaches the team who built the site with the page and the exact spot attached.
