A price shown on the pricing page and in a comparison table. A project’s status on the home page and on the project’s own page. A line in the footer, on every page. These are one piece of content with several copies, and editing any copy changes all of them.

What you see

In Edit mode a shared field works like any other: click and type, pick an image, pick a date. As you type, every other copy on the same page updates. On Publish, pages you were not looking at update too. Shared edits count as unsaved changes like everything else, and Cancel discards them together. The header and footer appear on every page. Edit them from any page, publish, and every page has the change.

Limits

  • Shared fields are editable from pages, not from inside an article.
  • Whole lists cannot be shared, only single fields.
